Today, InTeahouse, the international platform connecting global investors with local innovators, opened its first European office in Munich. This marks the 5th location for the Chinese network of financiers, corporations, academics and entrepreneurs in the world’s most innovative cities. InTeahouse has previously opened offices in the USA and China.
A China-Germany Capital & Technology networking event inaugurated the new space. It attracted over 200 attendees from Munich’s innovation ecosystem. Participants stemmed from both startups and local international corporations such as Siemens, IBM Watson and the Bank of China. All of them were welcomed by the Chinese Consul General in Munich, the City of Munich and the Guangdong Province Commerce mission to Germany, as well as by a tea ceremony.
Highlights of the event where the investment pitches of Speedlab (FinTech), Loyalty Prime (eCommerce) and Micropsi (AI), and a discussion of Tech and Capital. Stefano Tresca, the L39 co-founder and InTeaHouse Advisor, moderated the latter.
The opening of the Munich office marks the beginning of a new expansion wave. InTeahouse plans further openings in New York, London, Tel Aviv and Zurich.
